Morning Update

[8:30 am] The ASX 200 futures are showing a decline of 27 points, or -0.30%. Overnight, the S&P 500 experienced a significant increase, climbing 0.73%. However, this upward momentum was mostly attributed to major technology companies, including Apple, which rose by 5.0%, Amazon with a 4.0% gain, and Tesla, which increased by 3.6%. In contrast, the equal-weighted S&P 500 index exhibited a different trend, finishing down by 0.22%, indicating underlying market weaknesses, as more stocks declined than advanced.
