Meta (META) is set to enhance its capabilities in humanoid robotics by acquiring Assured Robot Intelligence, a firm at the leading edge of robotic technology. In a recent statement, a Meta representative remarked, "We have acquired Assured Robot Intelligence, a company pioneering robotic intelligence designed to empower robots with the ability to understand and interact effectively with humans." The co-founders of Assured Robot Intelligence, Lerrel Pinto and Xiaolong Wang, will spearhead this initiative, bringing in their extensive expertise to enhance Meta’s models for robot control and self-learning capabilities, particularly for whole-body humanoid control.
